In game one, Jeremy Guthrie makes his second strong start of the season, seems like he only pitches good when he starts. Jay Gibbons has 3 hits including a double and a homerun. Orioles win 8-3.
Erik Bedard threw 7 scoreless innings, only giving up 3 hits and 3 walks. He had 10 strikeouts. Aubrey Huff hit a walk off homer to give the O’s a 1-0 victory.
Daniel Cabrera didn’t pitch very good, but he did enough to get the victory in the 11-6 win for the Orioles. Kevin Millar had a couple of hits, including a homerun and 4 RBI.
Next up, the O’s travel to Boston for a 3 game set. Go O’s.
