RHP Koji Uehara was placed on the 15 day disabled list with elbow fatigue. RHP David Hernandez was recalled from AAA Norfolk.

Hernandez was the right guy to call up. He only got a limited trial his first time with the big club, and he was pitching pretty well. He was sent down to make room for Uehara coming off the disabled list before, so its only fitting he gets the call when Koji has to go back on the DL. Hernandez makes his first start today against the Nationals.
