I’ve decided that I cannot contain my interest and opinions on the Baltimore Orioles to myself anymore. I’m tired of debating with myself and only having myself to go to when it comes to intelligent conversation on the topic of baseball and the orioles. Of course there are numorous blogs and websites that do a great job with information and analysis on the Orioles, and believe me, I read most of them. I am a proud member of www.orioleshangout.com, which is easily the best website out there for all your Baltimore Oriole needs.
What I want to do is give my take on all the games the O’s play and all the transactions that the O’s make. I plan on giving each transaction a grade, while briefly breaking down each players performance for any games I am able to watch all the way through.
I don’t know how often I will be able to post, but I will try to keep the site as up to date as possible. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated. I figured one more blog following the Orioles couldn’t hurt, and if theres anyone interested in the team as much as me, every blog I can add to my bookmarks is a bonus.
So I will leave my first post saying hello to anyone that cares to read this blog.
Hello,
You’re running a great website. With such a clean design, honest postings and tons of useful information, you’ve created a great resource for Orioles fans to find what they’re looking for.
We’re holding an event with LaTroy Hawkins on August 19 and we thought your readers might be interested. If you’d like more information about this event, please contact me for details at samuelb@toysrus.com
Thank you.

I’ve been reading the Report on a daily basis since I discovered it two weeks ago, and I wanted to leave quick note of appreciation.
It’s such a fun read!
Technically the site is very good, with a great layout and color scheme, and I love your enthusiasm about the O’s. Markakis and Roberts are my two favorite players, and I love reading about them in your entries.
Anyway, from an Orioles fan in North Carolina, I just wanted to say that I love your effort very much, and I’m definitely now hooked on the Report.
Nick
Thanks alot Nick, it really means alot to hear stuff like that. It makes it so much easier to write every day when you feel like you have a purpose for writing it. I’m going to keep it up for as long as I can, so its nice when I know people are reading it. Thanks again.

Awesome website. I have my own blog, the Oriole Post at http://oriolepost.blogspot.com and I have added your link as well!
I like the format and the analysis of your posts…
Take care,
Anthony
Even though I am originally from southern California, I had always liked the Orioles before Angelos got his hands on them. You O’s fans have really suffered the last decade or so. So here’s to hoping that they can pull out of the pit they have been in somehow.
Btw, I primarily write about Japanese baseball if you are interested.

Thanks Anthony and Gary. I appreciate the kind words. I hope this is the year the Orioles break out and compete again.
I will add both of your websites to my links on the homepage.
Hi,
I really enjoy this site. I have my own blog that is O’s related and I would love to link to this and have you link to mine.
I am currently doing a season preivew. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Thanks
Thanks for the kind words. I have added your blog to my links section. I like the way you add some humor to the analysis. Its a nice change of pace. Nice work.
Cool thanks man. I’ll try to keep it up. I really enjoy writing about the O’s.
I like your process here. This is a great site to get a good understanding of whats actually going on with the team…
I’d be interested in seeing what you could offer. We sell a ton of baseball tickets, and ideally, we could do something that would include some text links to our site.
We pay 5% of every sale to you that comes to us via your website. Our average sale is $500, which translates to $25 for that sale.
One idea I will give you is to include you in our one-of-a-kind Partner PPC program. We pay X amount for every click from your site to ours, regardless of whether they buy or not. It’s a chance for you to earn a lot from the traffic you send us.

Great site Bob. I will try to follow as much as i can.
It looks like Wieters is starting to get comfortable. IT’S PRETTY SCARY TO THINK HOW GOOD HE MAY BE.
Also i am watching the game right now. Hill is pitching. I really think he will develop into a nice consistent starter.
What do you think ?
Yeah, Wieters is starting to put it together. Hes gonna be a beast.
I think Hill could be really good. Its just a matter of if he can consistently control his pitches. Theres no question his stuff is good enough. Hes 29, so hes not much of a prospect but hes had success in the past and could be another Guthrie type for us.
Thanks for checking in, I appreciate it.
